Hull’s Angels Board of Directors is thrilled to introduce, Rhianna Schlief, as our Executive Director, starting January 1st!

Originally from neighboring Alleghany County, Rhianna moved back to our area in 2022 after 6 years of employment abroad in education, teaching at American schools in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Warsaw, Poland. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Blue Ridge Outdoor School, a Lexington-based summer and after-school outdoor recreation program for elementary aged children and will be opening an outdoor Preschool Outdoor program in fall of 2024.

Rhianna holds both a B.S. and M.A. degree from James Madison University. She and her husband, Ben, and their three daughters reside in Buena Vista.

“I am looking forward to working with Hull’s Angels to keep thriving and moving forward. Hulls Drive-In is a community icon and I want to ensure it stays that way, along with a great staff team and board of volunteers” said Rhianna.

Thanks to the incredible people at the Community Foundation for Rockbridge, Bath and Alleghany Counties, Hull's is working on some exciting new updates for the 2024 season that we are very excited about!  Once work begins, we look forward to sharing what we have up our sleeve, and how you will enjoy your time at Hull's Drive-in even more in 2024!

December of 2023 had mild enough weather that we decided to hold a  'Bonus Encore Weekend' to show some beloved Christmas Movies for our Customers to kick of the holiday season and to raise money for Rockbridge Christmas Baskets (RCB).

Did you know that in 2022 RCB delivered 1,770 boxes of nutritious food to 1,130 local households in need!? They also provided 1,165 new toys to children in our area.  We could not be prouder than help this worthy cause for 2024 and on 17 January we presented Rockbridge Christmas Baskets with a check for $500 for the 2024 efforts!
